HR Initiatives in the Third Sector

This Study concentrates on the human resources dimension in the third sector organisations. The objective of the study is to examine the importance of human resources to the third sector and suggest a working model of human resource development to the third sector organisations (TSOs). Accordingly, the report is divided into five chapters.

 The First Chapter deals with the objective and methodology of the study. Chapter II concentrates on the relevance of Human Resources (HR) for the third sector organisations. Chapter III locates the sample profile in the background of the primary data. The Fourth Chapter analyses the data collected through primary and secondary sources. Chapter V summerises the findings and provides suggestions for the improvements of HR in third sector organisations.
